With over 20 years of experience as an executive leader, strategic storyteller, and advocacy communicator, Doug has led public sector and nonprofit organizations, developed and implemented creative, proactive, and comprehensive communications strategies to engage and inform targeted audiences, and helped organizations tell their story effectively and persuasively.
He has managed organizational restructuring and regional healthcare emergencies, coached senior executives preparing for speeches, congressional testimony, and other high-stakes presentations, and he is no stranger to crisis management. His experience and successes are centered on coaching and developing individuals, strategic and tactical planning, team building, cultural transformation, and conveying complex messaging in clear, simple language, and leading with integrity.
Principal of Pendragon Strategies, LLC, Doug recently stood up a business and executive coaching practice in Dayton, Ohio as a Focal Point Business Coaching franchisee where he helps owners of small- and medium-sized businesses find clarity, growth, and leadership and coaches C-suite executives.
He holds an MBA, a BA in communications with an emphasis in public relations and completed a senior executive fellowship at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
